It's hard to imagine that there are kids in this world who do not have good food to eat at all times.  Perhaps the devil has cursed me with a weight gaining problem so that the Lord can show me the absolute joy of eating a good meal when you are hungry.  Eating a good meal when you are hungry is absolute joy.  And to think that there are kids who are hungry and you could give them absolute joy just by giving them a good meal.  To think that I as a had absolute joy three times a day seven days a week growing up and then forgot about Jesus and started thinking poor-me baby I'm not a multi-millionaire rock star and I have to go to work at a job every day and pay half of my paycheck to the IRS every payday all  while having the ability to open both eyes and get out of bed each  morning and dress myself and pay rent and still experience absolute joy three times a day or four or five times a day if I decided on a late night Mickey D's. I like to play around with all kinds of different blog names.  Now I find myself back at The Doug Kenline Newsletter.  Seems to be the best place maybe for random thoughts and random writing.  I could sit and post pictures to Facebook and Twitter all day but people might start thinking I've gone a little overboard on Facebook and Twitter.  They are two different animals it seems.  Twitter seems to be more out there in the political world but today I started following a bunch of these farmer and heavy equipment types and cattle ranchers and all kinds of rural types.  I like the pictures they post of the country life. I live in the city and pretty much like it here.  The farm life looks good and I like reading about it and looking at pictures and thinking about the dollars and cents of ranching and farming which is probably not too good in most cases and always a lot of hard work.  A lot of hard physical labor.  I prefer to sit at my desk in my...

Well the vaccine passport crowd is back in full force at my house again.  Telling me I got to take the jab or I lose the job.  Well I may just take it.  Just like paying all of the money I make from the job to the IRS.  Men have had tougher lives than me throughout history no doubt.  Pastor Spell had a tough go of it.  Rodney Howard-Browne would tell me to tell them to take a hike.  Coach Prime got his and makes all his players take it too or they don't play. So probably I'd say 50, 60, 70 percent of Americans have taken the jab.  So why not just take it and keep the job.  Thirty or forty years from now or maybe sooner I'll have moved on to the next life anyway.  What remains to be seen in this life probably doesn't matter a whole lot as long as I believe in Jesus Christ.  Father, son, and holy spirit.  Only thing that matters.  God bless America.

Well I proved my point in my last post.  Big brother is watching.  I mentioned the word that ryhmes with tangerine and I was censored.  Not by any person.  There are too many of us and too few of them.  But by this new thing called Artificial Intelligence.  Zero intelligence.  If they win the battle of control over artificial intelligence I don't think this would be any world that anybody would want to live in.  A world of total tyranny is only good for a very small minority and as the great founding father so aptly stated, the people is a great beast. Well I signed up for my buddy Joey's pick 'em service.  Forty bucks a month.  Got wins in three out the first four picks since I signed up.  Haven't seen that he publishes his trade tracker.  But I'm tracking them myself and I got me a good little trade tracker going.  I started out with a $50 account at the Draft Kings Sportsbook.  After one day of betting it's sitting at $52.18 on four one dollar bets.  I have no idea where I'd be if I made ten dollar bets.  But that's the plan.  Make ten one dollar bets to see how his track record looks.  If I'm in the black then make ten ten dollar bets and see how that turns out. Scott Adams who makes the Dilbert comic strip I guess he's got tens of millions of dollars or so they say.  Well there is still such a thing as individuals.  Always has been and always will be.  And it's good that all politics is local because in theory the one's who make the laws are your neighbors.  Now if Washington DC is controlled by Bejing well then here we are. I would lease a little retail office space in a little strip mall in a fairly populated area where there's a bus stop and lots of people who take the bus and a few panhandlers and no-account drifters hanging around along with a hustle and bustle of working stiffs buzzing around going in and out of the grocery store and the sandwich shops.  I would hang up a sign that says Jesus Name Help Center and another sign that says welcome.  When the first person walks through the door I would say hello welcome please turn that sign around so it says helping someone please wait until this person leaves before coming in. Then I would have the person sit down in a nice comfortable chair and offer them a hot coffee or a cold drink and something to eat.  Then I would listen to their tale of woe.  At that point I would recommend the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace program and try to help them with their budgeting and saving and recommend that they try to work on a plan to improve their ...

I  don't know if John Bunyan played chess or not.  But he did have a dream.  And his dream was about Jesus Christ and getting to heaven.  Good book so far.  Printed in Philadelphia in 1878 by the publisher who started the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper.  Harding I think was his name.  Second most read book in human history next to the bible.  Recommended by Pastor Tony Spell.  I'm also plowing through the book of Numbers while listening to Pastor Murray cover the chapters on audio to help to soften up the ground. So in business you have to outwork your opponent.  It's pretty plain and simple.  You work so hard the competition falls by the wayside.  Now you just have to decide what game you want to play.  If you choose to play chess you will have some serious competition.  But I like the masters who say they never play to win but only to learn.  If they win that is nice but to learn and become better is the way t...

Merle Haggard's train finally came in and it has left the station.  Mine's due to arrive in twenty to thirty years if I'm lucky and possibly two and half weeks if I were to have a stroke tomorrow but odds are and if I were a betting man I would say I've got a good ten years of writing left in me.  If I write something every day for the next ten years I win the bet.  It's not love, but it's not bad. Reading John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress.  Incredible read.  And such a joy to be holding an 1878 copy of his great works.  Somebody wrote in handwriting on the inside cover a gift from so and so and then wrote the date, 1878.  Over 100 years ago a man wrote on the inside cover of the book that I am reading today in 2023.  I suppose this would seem like a far off land to that man.  I like going back in time with a book like that.  And there may be not other book like that one. Pastor Murray says you are never wasting your time when you are reading and studying the bible.  Probably everything else is  a waste of time.  But the bible says you have to be a doer as well as a hearer.  So I will do this blog and mention the name of Jesus every time I get a chance.  Pastor Spell says lead, follow, or get out of the way. God is not the author of confusion, but of peace of mind.  Peace of mind and joy of heart.  If you  have these along with food  clothing and shelter and especially because I  know of no other existence if you are living in the united States  of America and I  would say if you are white although Coach Prime has a lot more money than I  do not to say he didn't work hard for it and overcome through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. It seems to me that any good leader would post a daily report for anybody who is following him.  General Lee for example.  Imagine if he were alive today and we were in the middle of a civil war.  Every single living soul in the Confederacy would want to immediately know what General Lee was thinking the first thing in the morning when they wake up. Look at America or anywhere in the world for that matter.  People work all day, or most of them do, and it seems to be getting less and less all the time as we move towards socialistic and communistic babylonian captivity for not repenting of our sins, and I am a good case in point of that and I thank God for all of my blessings today, but people work all day until they are tired and then they go to sleep.  They sleep for eight hours and then they wake up to go back to work.   Now during the course of this eight hours, things happen.  And the first thing the man wants to know is what happened while I w...

It's good to have a big goal.  It gives you a reason to get up and get to work each day.  Coach Prime is looking for a national championship in Boulder, Colorado.  He preaches Jesus and now I guess he's up against the wokies in Boulder for having a Christian prayer with his team.  So this will be interesting.  Coach Prime says he's all about the kids and Jonathan Shuttlesworth would tell him if those kids don't get Jesus then they don't get to heaven.   I guess getting to heaven should be the goal of every child that God brings into this earth age.  We all know those who have done gone on.  What was their big goal?  Did they achieve their big goal?  Well it seems we can have many big goals.  Some need to be attained before we reach a certain age.  For example Coach Prime once had a  big goal of playing in the NFL.  Well you better check that one off before you reach age 26 or you can probably scracth that one off...

Business is key.  Small business.  The backbone and the salt of America.  And the church is the only business  worth working on.  Either that or raising boys  and girls in church while you work your business in order for them to go on and do the same in an even greater manner.  The rich hand their money down to their kids and their kids learn critical race theory and equality and communism and socialism while the beast sucks you dry of every penny from the other end. On the other hand as opposed to Harvard and Yale and unfortunately probably the University of Pennsylvania,  small business is the exact opposite of what they teach there.  But I  suppose without the big businesses like Cisco and T-Mobile and Facebook and Google who owns my blog here and decides if the words I write will be allowed to be published or not are. But yet here we are with Dave Ramsey and Del Walmsley and Preston James and Ann Wilson and the list goes on and on of...

Coach  Prime is  going for the national championship and I  am  working right along with him to make $1M per month.  I've got 5 years on the coach and he's got about $10M lead on me but praise the Lord every day is a  good day to praise the Lord.  Read the bible and write out checks to those less fortunate.  Work on your business.  Read good books, play some chess, play guitar, sing gospel tunes praise the Lord and work on your business. Now if you're a  man and you find a  woman to do it with then praise the Lord even more.  Watch good preachers on TV.  And  like pastor Jonathan in his service from Washington DC last night I like to say the word TV.  I think pastor Shuttlesworth is I'm thinking 10 years younger than Coach Prime.  They both love Jesus and Jesus loves both of them I  believe.  And Jesus loves Zach Hubbard and Conspiracy Joey and I would  guess that he even loves Damar Hamlin. There's so many goo-roos out there you will never get to all of them.  Probably be lucky if you even ever have time for only one of them.  Best make it Jesus Christ.  He is  not a goo-roo or maybe he is the goo-roo of all goo-roos even though the term can be construed as a derogatory dig.  But what is all the money in the world if you are not happy and if you do not have joy and peace of mind?  Gain the world but lose your soul.  Store up treasures in heaven.  Give me one drop of water the rich man cried from hell. I wonder where Coach Prime goes to church.  I don't go to church.  I work on Sunday mornings.  Maybe that's why Coach Prime likes coaching college because they play on Saturday, the Sabbath day.  Pastor Murray says when you're watching him on TV you're in church.  I guess I belong to a radio ministry.  J. Well I wonder what Coach Prime is doing this morning.  He's got a national championship to win and he's got a lot of competition.  I want to start following the Virginia Tech wrestling team a little bit closer too.  I'll ask conspiracy Joey if we can bet on collegiate wrestling.  Betting is something that I  have never been interested in but I find it interesting that Zach and Joey and others seem pretty dead sure that the entire thing is rigged.  And when it comes down to an argument when I was a kid it was always settled by a bet. If you ever got in a sports argument with another kid it would always come down to ok  let's bet.  And that pretty much was the end of the argument until the last second clicked off of the clock.  As soon as the bet is placed now it's time to go to work.  Hit the weight room, run your practice plays, watch your diet, read good books, get plenty of rest, don't go out and rob a liquor store on Friday night....
