Well I wonder what Coach Prime is doing this morning.  He's got a national championship to win and he's got a lot of competition.  I want to start following the Virginia Tech wrestling team a little bit closer too.  I'll ask conspiracy Joey if we can bet on collegiate wrestling.  Betting is something that I  have never been interested in but I find it interesting that Zach and Joey and others seem pretty dead sure that the entire thing is rigged.  And when it comes down to an argument when I was a kid it was always settled by a bet. If you ever got in a sports argument with another kid it would always come down to ok  let's bet.  And that pretty much was the end of the argument until the last second clicked off of the clock.  As soon as the bet is placed now it's time to go to work.  Hit the weight room, run your practice plays, watch your diet, read good books, get plenty of rest, don't go out and rob a liquor store on Friday night.  Coach Prime likes to coach

One reason I like Coach Prime is because I do believe in the power and beauty and wonderfulness of athletic competition.  It has been around forever since the time of the Romans and before.  Since the beginning.  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It was interesting to see how they play football down under.  I looked for the most popular and biggest revenue generating sport in Australia out of curiosity to see if it was the same there as it is here with the NFL.  It looks like their number one sport down under with the bushmen and Crockadile Dundee is what they call Autstralian Football.  It looks like it's the same as rugby in the UK.  I'll tell you one thing, they ain't got no pads or helmets on. So me being an American I suppose likes the game of American football.  Now for a while there I was following Canadian football.  And I guess the Grey Cup goes back way before the Super Bowl.  When I was a kid Super Bowl one was fairly recent history although

It's kind of cool when you can see your dream finally kind of coming together.  I guess it's like Kris Kristofferson said, things are getting better, you're running out of time.  I remember saying that to Mom out on her back patio at her beautiful home overlooking the southern Colorado foothills.  There must Dad had already gone one.  Mom was very close to the end but we didn't know how close at the time.  I can imagine the dreams that she and Dad had.  And they did pretty darn good.  I was blessed beyond all imagination to have my Mom and Dad for parents. And I am not alone.  Many in my small town did very well.  For the most part we were hard working country white folks in small town America.  We had Mexicans around and I love Mexicans as much as anybody.  Weren't a black face to be seen except on the TV.  And them black girls on the TV made me want to get to the big city as fast as I could.  I'd see some in Colorado Springs at the mall or downtown or somewher

I like Coach Prime.  I find the Coach Prime story to be an interesting story.  I read his book quite a few years ago and I followed him on social media for awhile back before the Jackson State story.  And then I kind of stopped following him and then as the Jackson State story started to pick up steam and gain legs I started following him there again.   The game is called football.  American football it seems to need to be said now.  The America I grew up in only knew one game of football.  American football.  NFL.  Nothing more need be said.  But today in 2023 at 59 years of age it seems to be a different world.  But in the midst of it all and still apparently surviving at some level is the good old game of American football. Now I like wrestling, and chess, and all kinds of sports but the game of football is definitely up there in my top favorites if not the top favorite sport of mine.  Well for one thing when it comes to the NFL just about everybody in the world is watching it.  The

In the game of football any good coach or player or assistant coach or bench warmer is always looking at the clock.  When the clock runs out, the game is over.  But there is always next season.   I was reading a good blog which I linked to in my blogroll here where the writer was writing about Bobby Fischer.  She ended it up with saying that she doesn't play chess to win but only to learn.  I like that philosophy.  I would always start out a chess game with the idea in my head that I am going to crush my opponent like a dixie cup.  Total domination like Coach Prime says.  In football this may be a good attitude.   In chess I am going to try the other attitude.  Don't play to win the game but only to learn something that you didn't know before.  Probably over time you will inevitably become a better player and by default you would become the best player that you could possibly be.  Did God create you to be the champion of the world?   Who are the winners in life and who are

You  can ask the Hatfield's and the McCoy's about that.  Everybody would probably like to save the world maybe except it seems that the global elites see that in terms  of saving the planet and they see people as the problem.  There's only one man  who can  save this world and that's Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  You can ask Andrew Wommack about that. But in the meantime you could do some pretty neat stuff.  You could start a blog and tell everybody who reads it about Jesus.  After you do that you get to work.  Or better yet that is the work that you do.  I'm not sure where Andrew Wommack was born and raised but he ended up in Woodland Park just up in the hills from downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, the centennial state.  I remember learning that we've got to pitch in to clean up America back in '76 at Lincoln Elementary School.  I wonder where all of those kids are now.  They were teaching us about the assassination of John F. I think I written about this subject on this blog before.  The idea is to have a retail front with apartments above on Main Street in small town USA.  It's an old brick two story with the ornate brickwork built in the late 1800's.  The sidewalk is wide and there are people walking up and down going to the various businesses on the street downtown.   Or it could be a  single story or any rented space on a downtown street in the big city.  They are both appealing and the idea would be to have hundreds if not thousands or millions of these all across this great land. It's open 24 hours a day.  The front desk runs in shifts of two people working 4 hours and overlapping so you only work 4 hours a day for 4 days a week and you always have somebody there to help you and to talk to. Or you would start out with just one person.  I would like it to be me but I am too busy keeping the lights turned on here at headquarters. I like competition.  Fair and square competition.  High school wresting.  High school football.  Ok I'll even say high school baseball although I didn't like it because all my friends were good baseball players and I wasn't any good at baseball.  At least that was my mindset which I can see now was full of stinkin' thinkin'.  I should have put my back into the game of baseball and showed 'em all that I could play baseball better than any of 'em. Same thing with high school wrestling.  I never even made varsity.  Coach gave me a Letter for my jacket on account I won my last two matches as a junior.  Coach said if you win your last two matches I'll give you a letter.  And he was true to his word.  I liked wearing my letter jacket but I could have done a lot better in wrestling.  I could have worked a lot harder.  I could have tried a lot harder.  Coach Prime would tell you.  If you're going to play for Coach Prime you're going to win. There won't be a day for the rest of your life when you are not bombarded with propaganda and fake news.  They want to get in to your head I guess who knows.  The anti-christ is at work and the only antidote is Jesus.  So I tune in to pastor Tony Spell and pastor Sean Feucht and Jonathan Shuttlesworth and all of the Shuttlesworth's and Rodney Howard-Browne and John MacArthur and Greg Locke and the list goes on. And I'm trying to plow through the good book from beginning to end.  It is all a  lifetime effort and the routine will change from day to day with the eye always on the goal of working hard to get to heaven.  Don't cheat, don't steal, don't squander and waste.  Treat other people how you would want them to treat you.  Take the better man road when you can. Daily routine is the key.  You have to determine your daily routine.  If you choose to follow Jesus then your daily routine would naturally include reading the bible every day.  I'm plowing through the Pentatuch and I have gotten through Numbers chapter 4.  Paul said study the law and it will lead you to Jesus Christ.  I was reading that George Washington rarely if ever mentioned the name of Jesus in his personal letters.  I guess he did a couple of times in some public letters. Today you might think of Homer and Virgil as pair of half-wit country boys up in Appalachia but it was interesting to me to read that Alexander Hamilton read Homer and Vergil who were famous poets from ancient times.  Hamilton said the people is a great beast.  The say he got it from Vergil's book written in 20 B.C. where he described the Cyclops as  a dreadful monster, shapeless, huge, blind. I guess today I'll find out who the speaker of the house is going to be.  I think the best thing for the people that I like would be to have Donald Trump take the job.  Zach Hubbard and others would say he is just as bad as Maccarthy and he may be right.  But I suppose I would vote for Donald Trump just like I did in the presidential election. It seems this world revolves around celebrities and I think Zach makes some interesting points and he is not alone out there by any means.  I could probably and probably will make a long blogroll of thousands of people who are in agreement with Zach.  And when you start going down that rabbit hole for me it can only lead to Jesus if you don't want to go to hell. Another word that I never heard of in school.  The libs of tik tok lady has come out of the closet.  Amid death threats and severe cyber bullying she has made her face public.  I suppose it may have just been a matter of time before the haters found her out anyway.  Now she can look forward to the life of an online celebrity.  The thing is there are so many millions of celebrities now the entire propaganda  game has changed. I mean we've got Zach Hubbard, Conspiracy Joey, Lance Wallnau, Tony Spell, Rodney Howard-Brown, Kenneth Copeland who just turned 84 or maybe 85 or maybe older years of age.  Yes he owns  a private jet and yes he makes no bones about it.  And  so  does Rodeny maybe even a couple of them.  I have heard the sale of private jets is  way up just like the eviction notices down at the poor farm. Well I say let the money be spread around even more.  Or maybe like Paul Zane Pilzner says  there is unlimited wealth.  I  would  be on this side of the economics  discussion.
