Jesus Name Help Center

I think I written about this subject on this blog before.  The idea is to have a retail front with apartments above on Main Street in small town USA.  It's an old brick two story with the ornate brickwork built in the late 1800's.  The sidewalk is wide and there are people walking up and down going to the various businesses on the street downtown.

Or it could be a  single story or any rented space on a downtown street in the big city.  They are both appealing and the idea would be to have hundreds if not thousands or millions of these all across this great land.

It's open 24 hours a day.  The front desk runs in shifts of two people working 4 hours and overlapping so you only work 4 hours a day for 4 days a week and you always have somebody there to help you and to talk to.

Or you would start out with just one person.  I would like it to be me but I am too busy keeping the lights turned on here at headquarters.

So for now the idea lives  online here at this blog.  If you happen to walk by and need some help, leave your contact information in the comments and I will contact you and see if I can get you a big bag of beans and a big bag of rice.  For now you'll have to take care of your own housing.  If you are in need of housing I can only try to help you look up housing help online.

In the big cities there is housing help and I'm sure there is housing help in the small towns as well.  Go online and look for housing help.  If you already have housing and need a pair of shoes maybe I could help you to get a new pair of shoes.  My plan is to be here writing and working until cash flow is sufficient to do otherwise.  Net worth is one thing and my current net worth is such that my tithe allows me to be able to buy somebody a new pair of shoes if you need a new pair of shoes or some beans and rice if you are tight on the groceries this month.  Or maybe I  could help you out with a gas bill if the government doesn't cut off our gas.

But cash flow is king.  And right now my cash flow consists of a paycheck and the paycheck goes to pay the bills.  But I have been blessed to have a little money left over at the end of the month and that I am putting into business research and development.  Cash flow only comes with business.  And if you don't know your numbers you don't know your business.

So I am working on my numbers and trying to increase my cash flow by decreasing my expenses.  Dave Ramsey will tell you it's not rocket science.  Live on less than you make.  Invest every penny that's left over and cut up those credit cards.  I may get Dave's Every Penny budget app and give it a test drive.  I've been trying Mint.  My foundational files are the good old spreadsheets.  Probably one of the first applications ever developed for the personal computer.

So currently I am making some capital expenditures to shore up my international headquarters just outside of Washington DC in Northern Virginia home of Robert E. Lee and Arlington.  High on the list is a nice lazy boy recliner and also a framed painting of George Washington.  Once the office is readied for sailing and the numbers are crunched down and the spending has settled a bit then I will go from there.  Although every day is different and every day's the same.  Every day I get deeper in debt. (To God for all of his blessings that keep pouring in from the opened window.)  It's your season to be blesssed.

So as far as the conspiracy front goes I missed on the Vikings but I got the Bills.  We'll see how that plays out.  I like the sports angle of the conspiracy world because outcomes are forced.  As in you will know exactly who won and exactly who lost come Monday morning.  On Monday morning the discussion is over as far as who will win and who will lose on yesterday.  The paper has already hit the front step.  The news is in.

I guess in politics you have the vote count but I guess for this latest $1.7 trillion spending bill there wasn't even a vote and nobody even read the thing and it was something like 15 million pages long.  And now they make a rule that congress gets 72 hours to read the 15 million pages.  I couldn't even read the book of Numbers in 72 hours.  I guess the thing should be available to read online but who in their right mind is going to take 5 seconds out of their day to read even one word of the new $1.7 trillion dollar spending bill.  Certainly not any elected official.  They've got better things to do.

Right now I'm working this plan.  We'll see how it goes and how it develops.  Things are always changing.  I  saw a twitter post that said every day we wake up and the world is now something that it has never been before.  But God is the same yesterday as he is today as he will be forever.  And right now my plan is the same as it has ever been since the big disaster with the IRS and learning that he who has the gold makes the rules.

The Wealth Chef is on to it  just like Dave Ramsey.  And I am scheduled to take some classes with The Wealth Chef Ann Wilson coming up here real quick.  Also I am now following her on social media right along with uncle Dave.  I like  their philosophy of stress elimination as basically the foundation.  Nothing like day trading or investing in crypto with Sam Bankman-Fried at FTX.  No corn futures speculation.  No sir-ee Bob.  More along the lines of the Buc-ee's storyline.  Beans and rice, rice and beans.  Scorched earth baby step one four walls in perpetuity.  Put every penny into mutual funds and rest easy.  Complete baby step 7 then build wealth and give.

Where Dave kind of leave's you hanging is at the build wealth and give phase especially the build wealth part.  A little pile slowly growing at the rate of mutual fund compounding is not going to generate the kind of cash flow that a successful home-based business might do like Hewlett-Packard starting out in a small one car garage in California.  Yes sir-ee Bob that right there is a beautiful Buc-ee's story right there.

So the mission statement of my company and my company motto would be something along the lines of live on beans and rice and write out checks for people who can barely afford to eat beans and rice.  Preferably somebody who was actually trying to scrimp on food not because of weight gain prevention but because of lack of cash flow and savings.  I imagine somebody who is working full time with the attitude of I ain't taking no goverment handouts but like the boss says lately there ain't been much work on account of the economy.

So you find a guy who is working his butt off, maybe has two or three jobs with nine kids and a wife.  Well his old beater pick up truck is about on the skids and little Jimmy's shoes are getting close to having holes in the bottom.  No he's not going to want to take any handouts.  And if he's smart he's already got the whole family down at the church on Sunday mornings.  So that's where you would find your good prospects to help out with some beans and rice or maybe a car repair bill or a tank of gasoline.

But you also got the ones who haven't come to Jesus yet and probably some who read the bible but have to work on Sundays and haven't got time for the men's bible study class on Thursday night.  But by God they read 'em a good chapter before going to bed on most nights.  They hitch 'em up and plow deep.  Now that would be a rare man indeed.  But maybe not so much in the circles of these pastors that I like that are building big churches in the midst of all this craziness.  And it's all this craziness that is causing the church to grow like it is.

Somewhere there is a writer who writes a good 75 to 100 pages of words every day.  That is the writer who will be a successful writer.  All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.  All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.  All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.  I guess it depends on if what you are writing will ever be read or if it is ever read will it have been a total waste of time for the reader.

Is it a  waste of time to read every book ever written by Mark Twain?  Was it a waste of Time for him to write them all?  Well I guess one measure of success would be the fame and fortune that he achieved.  But what about the poor hermit living in a one room log cabin with only a single oil lamp to light the room as he sits there and writes page after page of nonsense until he finally keels over and dies?

God bless America.
