Positive Mental Attitude

But all of the poor kids on the Jackson State University football team are not any different than many poor kids on football teams all across this great country.  And American football is about the best game any young man could be in.  That and wrestling and any competitive sport is good for any young man who is able to compete at any level.  Chess is also good.  Physical and mental competition is good. 

And it doesn't matter how poor you are or if your idol coach just pulled up stakes and went to a better opportunity thousands of miles away, that don't matter.  You got to pay your bills and work on your business.  And that's where Dave Ramsey comes in.  I think a core component of any young person's athletic career should be education.  This is nothing new but it seems to me that financial Dave Ramsey type education is sorely lacking and needs to be kicked up to the Prime Time level.

If you can motivate those kids to win back to back championships and pull in the coaches to make it happen then you can motivate those kids to hit baby step seven completion by the time they graduate high school.  Could you imagine every kid on the college football team owned his own home free and clear and had a million dollars in the bank?  Now it removes the money parameter from the equation or at least opens the money door for many, many more kids beyond only those who can make it to the NFL.

In fact the Dave Ramsey curricullem opens the money door to just about everybody.  It flips the NFL money equation of less than one percent in the game to the Dave Ramsey money equation where less than one percent are out of the game.

That is where everything comes back around to 1776 and the American Revolution.  And it is the small businessman, the entrepreneur, the preachers, the community leaders, and maybe even some internet money making goo-roos that keep this country free from complete communism where only less than one ten tenth of one tenth of one percent own and control all the money in the world with no hope of escape for anybody else.

Yea the world could go one way or the other so I will just praise God and work every day to do what I can to leave it better to the next generation and help as many people as I can who are struggling today.

Well I wonder what Coach Prime is doing this morning.  He's got a national championship to win and he's got a lot of competition.  I want to start following the Virginia Tech wrestling team a little bit closer too.  I'll ask conspiracy Joey if we can bet on collegiate wrestling.  Betting is something that I  have never been interested in but I find it interesting that Zach and Joey and others seem pretty dead sure that the entire thing is rigged.  And when it comes down to an argument when I was a kid it was always settled by a bet. If you ever got in a sports argument with another kid it would always come down to ok  let's bet.  And that pretty much was the end of the argument until the last second clicked off of the clock.  As soon as the bet is placed now it's time to go to work.  Hit the weight room, run your practice plays, watch your diet, read good books, get plenty of rest, don't go out and rob a liquor store on Friday night.  Coach Prime likes to coach

Vaccine passport.

Well the vaccine passport crowd is back in full force at my house again.  Telling me I got to take the jab or I lose the job.  Well I may just take it.  Just like paying all of the money I make from the job to the IRS.  Men have had tougher lives than me throughout history no doubt.  Pastor Spell had a tough go of it.  Rodney Howard-Browne would tell me to tell them to take a hike.  Coach Prime got his and makes all his players take it too or they don't play. So probably I'd say 50, 60, 70 percent of Americans have taken the jab.  So why not just take it and keep the job.  Thirty or forty years from now or maybe sooner I'll have moved on to the next life anyway.  What remains to be seen in this life probably doesn't matter a whole lot as long as I believe in Jesus Christ.  Father, son, and holy spirit.  Only thing that matters.  God bless America.

From the desk of Doug Kenline. Don Trump gets out of bed every morning just like everybody else I suppose. I guess this morning he might be looking at his calendar and thinking about his upcoming presidential bid.  Then he will check his email and surf around on Truth Social for awhile.  Probably took a big poop and got on the scale before he choked down an extra large breakfast burrito at the Mara Largo outdoor patio in south Florida. Up north in Talahassee Ron Desantis does bascially the same thing. Warren Buffet does the same.
